Preventive Maintenance Menu

ENGINE OIL
Never wait for the oil-pressure light to show and warn you that your oil is way below the required level. By that time, you may have done serious damage to your engine. It is recommended that the engine oil should be changed for every 5,000 kms. Keep your car in good running condition. Make sure your engine uses clean oil only.

COOLANT
Engines get hot in all kinds of weather.  Engine coolants are designed to keep them from overheating. Check the level of coolant in the radiator every time you check your oil. Engine coolants should be changed every 20,000 kms.

CAUTION:  do not open the reserve tank lid or radiator cap while the engine is hot.  The coolant system is under pressure and any hot coolant escaping could cause severe burns.  


TIMING BELT
The engine will stop if the timing belt breaks or the ratchets’ teeth get stripped.  But the real danger is the possibility of severe engine damage.  The damage may be a hole in the piston, damage to the cylinder heads, or a ruined engine.  Timing belt should be replaced between 60, 000 to 80, 000 kms.

Periodic Maintenance Service Menu

This is your guide to Mitsubishi Motors Service Plus Periodic Maintenance Schedule or PMS. It will indicate the type of service classification that will be done on your vehicle at certain kilometer readings. We have enumerated below the type of work that will be done to your vehicle every time you bring it for periodic check. It is highly recommended that you bring your vehicle regularly to our authorized servicing dealers to ensure that the proper work required is done.

Your vehicle warranty is 100,000kms. or 3 years which ever comes first for the Lancer, Galant, Pajero, Strada 4x4, Space Gear Gas and Diesel, L300 Exceed, Adventure. While the warranty for the L300 Versa Van, L200 XT and GL is 50,000kms or 2 years which ever comes first. And the warranty for the Canter, and L300 Cab and Chassis is 20,000kms. or 1 year which ever comes first. To ensure that your vehicles stay within the warranty coverage, you should have your vehicle checked only at our authorized service centers.

Complying with the regular periodic check up is more economical in the long run and prevents early breakdown, thereby extending the life of your vehicle. This is what we call Mitsubishi Service Plus.

Need car repairs but can't find time amidst busy schedule?  Worry no more!  The Early Bird / Nigh Owl Drop-Off Service is conceptualized especially for you.

Just follow the simple steps below.

    * Bring in your car any time of the day.  
    * Fill out the Early Bird / Night Owl Envelope and indicate the type of service you would want your vehicle to undergo.  
    * Check your car for personal belongings before locking it up.  
    * Place your car keys inside the envelope, seal and drop it inside the clot box located near the entrance guard.  
    * At the start of business hours our Service Advisors will call you right away to advise you of the services you may need.
    * We will inform you as soon as work is completed and the vehicle is ready for pick up.  


Voila!  A hassle-free service for a busy person like you!
