ENGINE OIL
Never wait for the oil-pressure light to show and warn you that your oil is way below the required level. By that time, you may have done serious damage to your engine. It is recommended that the engine oil should be changed for every 5,000 kms. Keep your car in good running condition. Make sure your engine uses clean oil only.

COOLANT
Engines get hot in all kinds of weather.  Engine coolants are designed to keep them from overheating. Check the level of coolant in the radiator every time you check your oil. Engine coolants should be changed every 20,000 kms.

CAUTION:  do not open the reserve tank lid or radiator cap while the engine is hot.  The coolant system is under pressure and any hot coolant escaping could cause severe burns.

TIMING BELT
The engine will stop if the timing belt breaks or the ratchets’ teeth get stripped.  But the real danger is the possibility of severe engine damage.  The damage may be a hole in the piston, damage to the cylinder heads, or a ruined engine.  Timing belt should be replaced between 60, 000 to 80, 000 kms.

FUEL INJECTORS
If an engine shows clogged fuel injectors, clean the injectors using our special equipment or replace the injectors if they fail to respond.  Cleaning the fuel injectors is very necessary.  In most cases, the vehicle will show significant improvement in engine performance and idle smoothness.  Cleaning is required every 20,000 kms.

BRAKE FLUIDS
Check the fluid in the reservoir. If the fluid is below the minimum level or the brake warning light shows, add brake fluid up to the maximum level. The brake system shall be thoroughly checked to avoid leaks. The brake fluid should be drained and changed once you've reached 40,000 kms.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID
Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) change is recommended every 40,000 kms. This is important because ATF degrades in time.  This would lead to deterioration of shift quality and also shortens the life of the transmission system due to heat and deposit buildup. Premature automatic transmission failures could be avoided through proper fluid maintenance. Using low quality fluids can lead to shift quality problem including shudder. If performed regularly ATF maintenance can prevent costly problems.

AIR FILTERS
The engine pulls in a tremendous volume of air.  The air has abrasive particles that must be prevented from entering into the engine.  Air Cleaner filters these abrasive particles.  In time, it accumulates dirt thus it clogs.  The air filter should be checked every other month and should be changed every 20,000 kms.

BATTERY
If a battery fails, it will prevent the car from starting.  You should inspect the batteries regularly. To maximize the life span of a battery, the electrolyte level must be regularly replenished with distilled water and it must touch the lowest tip of the battery's filler holes.  Do not over replenish because spillage during driving would cause damage.

CAUTION:  Always wear eye protection when working on a battery.  Protect yourself from electrolyte splash as this can injure the skin and the eyes.  Do not smoke or bring an open flame near the battery.  Doing so could ignite the explosive gas generated by the battery.

TIRES
Pay attention to the tire pressure to maximize your car’s performance.  Keep tires inflated to a recommended pressure.  Cars are easier to handle when the tire pressure is correct.  Properly maintained tires also last longer and improves your gas mileage.  Check for cuts, bulges and excessive tire wear.  Uneven tire wear indicates wheel misalignment.

FUEL FILTERS
In high-pressure diesel fuel injection system, it is very important that the Diesel fuel is free from contaminants. Engine requires clean fuel because the fuel system is highly susceptible to damage caused by particles in the fuel. Fuel filter should be changed every 20,000 kms.

OIL FILTERS
To maintain peak performance replace oil filters every oil change.  Oil filter provides protection by filtering contaminants before they can circulate in the engine.  This ensures a fresh supply of oil to bearings, rings, cylinders and other moving parts.  Change oil is recommended every 5,000 kms.
